Happy October!

Just hanging out with my ghoul friends!

I loooove this time of year!  Fall is in the air and that just makes me happy!  I love everything that Fall conjures up...colorful leaves, pumpkins, pumpkin lattes, and Halloween!  I made this little card using some of my new Memory Box Dies...the Manor House and Ghastly Ghosts!  I also used a few Recollection Stamps from Michaels.  The solid cardstock is from PTI and the Manor House is cut from Martha Stewart paper.  I really liked how this turned out.

I love these ghastly ghosts, don't you?   They are perfect with this Manor House die.  I punched a circle for my moon and added Black Soot Distress Ink around the card and to the moon.  The sentiment was stamped in Versa Mark Watermark Ink and embossed with Recollections lime green embossing powder.  That sentiment is also from Memory Box.
Hope you enjoy and will come back soon!  Enjoy the Fall and everything special it brings!  love, bs

My 2014 Calendar

This calendar is something I do every year now.  This will be my third year making these little gifts for my friends!  I also have them available in my Etsy Shop...AllThatsPaper.  I work at an elementary school and the staff loves getting these for Christmas.  They start asking me about them in early December.  Hope you enjoy them as well.  If you need any type of gift around the Holidays such as teacher gifts or hostess gifts, these are perfect!  Hope you enjoy them.

I love making these!!!  They make me smile!  I usually download a digital calendar every year but this time I made my own. I order these cute little easels from  http://www.calendar-case.com.  Believe me, this took me a long while as I am not too savvy on using the computer for this type of thing.  After some pain...I did it!  Have a great Sunday!!  Happy Fall!!

Last Celebrated Day of Summer

I thought today I would show you a Halloween Banner that I made.  It is never too early to start on Holiday crafting.  I love creating Halloween projects!  To me it is all about the fun and dressing up and the children.  I do not get into the really scary or morbid things of Halloween.  I love the colors and the great stamps and dies that make up cute little projects.

I love the way this turned out.

This was so fun to make.  I used lots of patterned paper, tulle, die cuts and stamps from Papertrey Ink, hand died ribbon, brads and other fun things!  I have added this to my Etsy Shop.  I hope you enjoy!  Have a great Labor Day!

Festive Friday's Challenge 14

Candy Cane Wishes

This week on Festive Friday's Challenge blog we were to use candy canes! On the Moxie Fab we were challenged to make a Christmas card.  Christmas in August!  I love the way this card came out.  I used the talented Lisa Johnson's Stitched Stockings from MMT.  I love this stamp set with the stocking dies!  I used PTI's stamper's white cardstock, twine and Fabulous Frame's stamps and dies.  I love scattering sequins!  Could you tell?  Below is a closer look at the stockings.

I added little buttons and bells to my stockings along with candy canes coming out of the top.  Very "CANDYCANISH" don't you think?  The sentiment is heat embossed using silver embossing powder!  Hope you enjoy this little "cool off" in August.

Let's Eat Cake!

Let's Eat Cake...shall we?  I love these little cupcakes from PTI.  I stamped them and colored them with pencils and Copics.  I used Stickles on the icing and added cute buttons.

The streamers are from Bountiful Banners and are cut from the coordinating dies in various PTI colors.  Eat cake and the cupcakes are from Tremendous Treats: Birthday.  I added sequins here and there.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Ahoy There!

What's not to love about this little ole sailboat?  When I was purchasing these papers from Pink Petticoat, I looked at her blog and she was making these adorable little sailboats.  I had to make my own!  This card uses all designer paper from the Pink Petticoat!  I cut little waves with my Fiskars punch!  Cut out a sentiment from PP as well and added some sequins and enamel dots!

I will be entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!  Have a terrific weekend!

Ahoy Mates!!

Waving Hello

This is my first stamp set from Paper Smooches!  What was I waiting on? $  :).  I adore this stamp set and dies called Wicked Nauticool!  It is perfect for me who is a Nautical loving soul!!  I grew up on the water and my Dad loved boats!  Although sailboats were not something we owned, I still love the beauty of them.
I could not wait to ink these babies up and play!  I also stumbled across some beautiful digital papers that made my heart sing!  These are from Pink Petticoat across the pond!  The papers in this collection are super!

The banner dies are from Papertrey Ink.  The little flag is heat embossed as is the waves.  I added a few sequins, some pink and white twine and there you have it!
I am entering this card into Simon Says Stamp Challenge.  This weeks challenge was to use triangles!  I do not own any of those trendy stamps yet.
On another note today, you may have noticed that I have changed the name of my blog to AllThatsPaper.  I am working on an Etsy Shop and that is the name of the shop.  So I have changed the background somewhat as well.
Have a great day!

Color Throwdown #253

I am entering a second card in this challenge today.  Two posts in one day is crazy for me!!  The stamp set and dies I used for this card are my absolute favorite Papertrey Ink set so far!!  It is called Pedal Pushers and with the dies and stamps the possibilities are endless!!  LOVE it!  Here is the card.

Don't you love that bike?  I die cut the bike twice so that I could add the seat, handlebars and basket in a fun color that looks like leather and wood.  I added those fun presents and the cute banner flying behind the bike.  I fussy cut the banner after I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in aqua blue and colored with ink over it in tangerine from Stampin' Up.  The arrows are from Bountiful Banners...also from PTI.  The look for the road is patterned paper from Webster's Pages!
The wheels actually turn as I attached them with brads!  Love how this card turned out.  Hope you do to!
Enjoy your weekend and get some crafty time in!

Color Throwdown 253

Hey there!  I am back for another challenge!  The colors in this weeks Color Throwdown is not too easy for me but I gave it a shot.  I have two cards to share today.  The first one I used a darker grey cardstock.  I die cut and stamped a sunflower from PTI.  I spritzed some aqua and some cantaloupe colored spray onto the card base.  I used a patterned paper for my flag going down the front and stamped and heat embossed the word HELLO!

I finished the card with some enamel dots!  Back soon with my second card!

Hello Pink and Green- Case Study #151

Isn't this a fabulous color palette?  Love the neon!  I decided to join in the fun this week at Case Study and come up with a bright card!  I used alcohol inks to create my background for use with the Sunbathing stamp from Outlines Rubber Stamps!  I complimented it with some Raspberry Fizz and Limeade Ice cardstock from PTI.  The rickrack I have had for sometime and thought it was time to use it! I die cut a butterfly from PTI and layered it, and there you have it...a fun, bright card!

Happy Monday!!!

See you soon!!

Happy Summer

SUMMER FOOD AND DRINK

How's this for inspiration!!!!  This is summer at it's finest!! I made a little card that is just "happy summer" time!  I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for this week which this picture inspired.  I used Hero Art's stamp set Life of the Party!  I stamped the darling ice cream cones on different pattern papers along with the fun ticket. I cut out by hand and pieced together.  The paper is from Simple Stories' Summer Fresh.  The happy summer sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Flipping Out.  I used a sticker as well from Summer Fresh.  The sentiment is stamped on burlap and I added a red button.

The card base is kraft cardstock from PTI.   A twine bow was added at the top!  Hope everyone out there is having a great summer and enjoying some of the great foods of summer!
I also followed the first color combo in Summer Card Camp 2 for this card.  Last day of camp makes me sad..:(

Good night!

PTI's Blog Hop and Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

Blog-hop-logoFruits-of-Summer-4

The 25th of the month brings the  July 2013 Papertrey Blog Hop! I chose the color inspiration above to make a card using Papertrey's Through the Trees stamp set.  I also included a dot stamp from Flower Fusion #3 and some random dots from Birthday Style.

I used PTI's Stamper's White cardstock along with Raspberry Fizz and Hibiscus Burst.  The embossing folder is from Stampin' Up.  I added a small heart to the tree trunk.  I stamped the dots randomly around the trunk with Raspberry Fizz ink and Stampin' Up's  Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush.  The tree was stamped in PTI's Dark Chocolate.  I mixed Simply Chartreuse and Limeade Ice on the stamp and sprayed it with a little water and then stamped over my dots.  I then continued to add a few dots on top of the green.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I love Through The Trees!!  Hope you enjoy this card!

I am also entering this card into My Moxie Fab's Tuesday's Trigger which has this inspiration:

Aren't these colors FABULOUS!!  Love!  I could stare at these colors all day.  I pulled the pinks and greens from this along with the dot effect on the tree.  You should play along!!

Have a Great Day!!

One of a Kind

Summer Card Camp 2

 http://onlinecardclasses.com/summercardcamp2/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/SCC2_week3_colors.jpg

Well same color palette today...different card!  This certainly is not easy for me. Here is the sketches we are using this week.

I used the 2nd sketch and did my own thing really.  And here it is:

The center is a Hero Art's stamp that I stamped in a deep purple.  This stamp makes the flower have two shades of purple.  I die cut two butterflies, one from light purple and one from aqua vellum.  I put both thru an embossing folder to give them texture.  I used some sequins as I thought it needed something.

Close up..the picture is a little dark as it is cloudy here!

Happy Birthday Foxy

Summer Card Camp 2

Today I made a card using an unusual color combo for me:

http://onlinecardclasses.com/summercardcamp2/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/SCC2_week3_colors.jpg

This was a super hard palette for me.  I wanted to make a card last night but could not wrap my head around these colors.  Today is a new day and I came up with this

I used a few die cuts for this card from PTI.  The stamp set for the fox, butterfly and small heart is from Hello Foxy along with those dies.  The words happy and foxy are from that same set.  The word BIRTHDAY is a die that matches the stamp set Wonderful Words: Birthday.  I cut that die out using 3 different cardstock colors.  I then glued in the various colored pieces into the aqua reverse die cut using the purple word as my base.  The fox was cut from kraft and stamped in dark brown.  I highlighted the tail with Enamel Accents.  I also added some Glossy Accents to the butterfly dots.  My moon is a circle that I heat embossed with gold embossing powder after dragging my Versamark ink over it.  I heat embossed this moon three times.  I also cut out that cute border three times and added various colors to that as well.  I took the aqua border and cut two little pieces and made the fox's bow and added a gem to the center.

As you can see I also added some faux stitching around the aqua border.   I like how this card turned out.  Hope you enjoy!  This class rocks you should certainly take this class!  It is available at anytime.

Let's Chill! SSS's By The Sea Challenge

By the Sea

Of course I loved this challenge.  Anything beachy is for me!!  I had so much fun.  I fussy cut all but the sun on this project.  That was a Papertrey die.

The stamps of the crab and palm tree are from Hero Art's Let's Chill stamp set.  I used kraft cardstock for the card base and added the dot paper from Down by the Shore from Fancy Pants.  I also used a product that I love from MuddPuddles.  It is a small jar of mini shells and Malibu Beach sand.  I also made clouds with Ranger's Distress Stain in Picket Fence and then went over it with Perfect Pearls to give it some shine.

I also added some Glossy Accents to the coconuts which you cannot really see in this picture.  Sorry it is a dreary day here.  I used some Copic Markers to shade the tree and sun.  Hope you enjoy!  Have a good afternoon!!

The Play Date Cafe #191

The Play Date Cafe and Summer Card Camp #2

I decided to play in The Play Date Cafe as I absolutely love these colors...melon and cantaloupe!  I used Stampin' Up's Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding cardstock and ink.  The card base is PTI's vintage cream cardstock. I did a tri-fold card.  The colors do not necessarily go with SCC2's colors but I did follow Jennifer's fun card!

I stamped the biggest flower in the Crisp Cantaloupe and added some darker shading with Stampin' Up's blender pen using Calypso Coral ink.  This stamp is from Cutting Garden at PTI.  I used the matching dies to cut out the flowers and leaves.  The sentiment is from PTI's Signature Greetings II.  The enamel dots are from MME.

I added a little glitter in the center with the Sakura glitter pen.

The inside sentiment is from Stylish Sentiments Birthday from PTI as well.  All sentiments were stamped with Stampin' Up's Baked Brown Sugar.
I like how these colors look so good together.  I am sending this card to a dear lady who will be 89 this month!  She was always like a second mom to me.    Hope you enjoyed today's post!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
